OK, I don't get it. Tell me again...why is Pacman Jones still officially in the league?

So, zero tolerance to me means NO MORE CHANCES. Am I missing something here? What else is there to "understand?" What I understand is that he doesn't know how to handle his anger. And clearly he has demonstrated that he can't conduct himself in an appropriate fashion.

Come on, Deion! Are you kidding me? Pacman's upset? He might lose hope? His childhood dream has been stripped away? Ummmm, is it just me or does everyone else see that he keeps bringing this on himself? Who cares how the "situation" came about. In house? It was with the guy that the Cowboys hired to PROTECT him. Why does he keep getting into "situations" that involve fighting anyway? According to Deion's update last week, the argument was over the guy being late! How does this translate into a fist fight? He's already been arrested six times and involved in 12 incidents where police were involved. I'm sorry, but I have absolutely NO sympathy.
And the voice of sanity - Jones on Jones
Sounds to me that even if Goodell lets Pacman back after the 4-game suspension, Jerry's gonna be pretty hesitant to let him play for the Cowboys again. He's got a reputation to uphold and Pacman's too much of a liability. TO has started rearing his ugliness again and that's a handful in itself.
So again, I'm not sure what else these people are hoping to see. Pacman has shown that he doesn't know how to change, even with the treat of a ban hanging over him. At this point, it's not about changing just to play football - it's about growing up, period! That's it Pacman, you need to move on.
