Is it the End?

Hi Ladies! So we may have just seen the end of the Alex Smith era at the San Francisco 49ers. On this morning's 49er Coordinator Show on KNBR, Mike Martz pretty much confirmed that JT O'Sullivan is his guy. He was a little vague with what the difference is - only that he can do some "unusual" things. I sure hope so! This actually brings up another point - the issue of paying first round draft picks gobs of money before they've played a single down in the NFL. We all know that pro football is much faster and complex than the college game. Just because a guy's a star in school doesn't mean he's the automatic ticket to the Super Bowl. I think the execs should wait and see what they've got before they get stuck paying for nothing.
